Chelsea DeRose is a poet recently relocated from the Chicagoland area to SF. While attending USF pursuing her MFA in Poetry she earns laughs when pronouncing words like mom, making sure everyone knows there should be an 'a' in place of the 'o'. Her work has appeared in Jet Fuel Review and Ships That Pass. Chelsea earned her BA in history at Lewis University in 2010. When she is not reading poetry she enjoys talks on feminist ideals, Native American history, ghost hunting, and drinking tea.
